CTG goes wild at Beach Clean Up

For the past 20 years, the Ocean Conservancy and coordinators from around the globe have worked together to create the largest daily volunteer effort in the world and CTG was a part of it. Every year, during the 3rd Saturday in September, volunteers work together to clean beaches, rivers and other waterways. Data collected by volunteers during this annual event is analyzed and tracked from year to year which helps to understand sources of marine debris and to find solutions to the problem.

CTG members are always interested in getting involved but never miss an opportunity to have some fun while volunteering.  This September during the clean up, members packed their bags and spent the weekend enjoying each others company, the coastal beauty, sunshine, food and fun.  You may consider being part of CTG’s clean up team next year or  Register for your local Volusia County clean-up location at: www.oceanconservancy.org/cleanup
